the capital city of Iran

Iran tour

Tehran tour the capital city of Iran

Tehrān, also spelled Teheran, the capital city of Iran and the centre of the province (ostān) of Tehrān, located in north-central Iran at the foot of the Elburz mountain range. Since its establishment as the capital city by Āghā Moḥammad Khān more than 200 years ago, Tehrān has grown from a small city to a major metropolis situated in an urban region of 12 million inhabitants, Tehrān is Iran’s largest city and one of the most populous cities of the world .and you can choose best Iran tours between them .then don’t waste time for reserve Iran tour

Character of the city and tourism in Iran

With a dramatic topography reflective of its proximity to the highest peak in the country if you want to travel to Iran ask you tour leader to have Tehran tour . Tehrān is Iran’s gateway to the outside world. Tehrān’s image abroad was strongly influenced by the Iranian Revolution of the late 1970s. In the last two decades of the 20th century, television screens and newspaper articles around the world portrayed Tehrān as a deeply religious city steeped in tradition, fighting against modernization and Westernization. While the Iranian self-image is that of an ancient people with a long history and a rich heritage, Tehrān challenges these images, as the corporeal city is relatively young. Most buildings were built after the mid-1960s, and half of the population is less than 27 years old; many of the city’s institutions are even younger This often uneasy coexistence of old and new, of continuity and change, and a deep social divide between rich and poor characterize the city, causing vitality as well as tension and upheaval reflected in two revolutions and many social movements during the 20th century

Landscape

City site

The centre of the city is on latitude 35°41′ N and longitude 51°26′ E. Tehrān is located on the steep southern slopes of the Elburz mountain range, which traces an arc along the coast of the Caspian Sea in northern Iran. Its highest peak, Mount Damāvand (Demavend), has an elevation of more than 18,400 feet (5,600 metres) and is visible from Tehrān on clear days. The highest point in Iran, Damāvand is also higher than any other peak among the summits to its west in Asia and Europe. Figuring prominently in Persian legend, Damāvand holds for Iranians much the same significance as Mount Fuji offers the Japanese. The symbolic significance of this site and its location on the historic east-west trade route (Silk Road) have ensured that this area has been the site of significant settlement for several millennia. Towchāl ridge (12,904 feet [3,933 metres]), the site of a popular ski and recreation site linked to the city by a series of cable cars, dominates the city from the north, while the city’s southern reaches extend toward Kavīr, a desert located in north-central Iran

The northernmost limits of the city stand at about 5,600 feet (1,700 metres) above sea level and the southernmost limits about 3,600 feet (1,100 metres). There is a difference of about 2,000 feet (600 metres) between the northern heights and the southern edges of the city, some 19 miles (30 km) away. This dramatic difference in height and Tehrān’s location between mountains and desert have had significant impacts on the social and physical characteristics of the city

Climate

Tehrān has a hot, arid climate shared by many parts of central Iran. Although the summer is very long, the city enjoys four distinct seasons, and the Elburz mountain range prevents the humidity of the Caspian Sea in the north from reaching the city. The annual average temperature in Tehrān is 63 °F (17 °C), with an average annual high of 73 °F (23 °C) and annual lows averaging about 53 °F (12 °C). Extreme temperatures can reach a maximum of 109 °F (43 °C) in the summer and a minimum of 5 °F (−15 °C) in the winter. The city has an average annual precipitation of about 10 inches (230 mm) and experiences an average of 48 days of frost per year

Tehrān’s growing environmental challenges include air, water, land, and noise pollution. Motor vehicles, household fuel, and a concentration of industries generate atmospheric pollution, which cannot be cleared away, because of the effect of surrounding mountains and limited precipitation. For two-thirds of the year, pollutants caused by fossil fuels are trapped inside a dome of hot air. The north winds are not strong enough to mobilize the polluted air, and the major winds, which blow from the west, south, and southeast, bring with them more pollution from industrial production in those areas

The juxtaposition of mountains and desert has created diverse climatic conditions in the city and, as a result, a diverse social geography. Historically, the city’s more affluent population chose the northern foothills for their summer residence, where trees were more plentiful and summers cooler than in the south, which, being in the vicinity of the desert, experienced hotter, dustier summers and featured fewer trees. In the 20th century, as travel between the city and the suburbs became easier, the northern heights became an integrated part of the city

City layout

Tehrān’s urban layout is marked by a clear core-periphery distinction. The old core forms a small part of the city, where a number of older buildings and institutions can be found. Moṭaharī (formerly Sepahsālār) mosque and seminary, with its domes and minarets, was the one of the most impressive buildings of the city in the 19th century. The central bazaar, with miles of roofed streets, domed trading halls, mosques, and caravanserais, remains a tourist attraction as well as a centre of economic activity. Near the bazaar and the city’s central park, the site of the old royal citadel is now occupied by many central government buildings. Most of the business activities and services are located in the old core and its northward expansion, developed mainly between the 1860s and the 1940s. The city core is surrounded by residential areas and growing suburbs. Older residential areas are built in the traditional style of winding narrow streets and cul-de-sacs leading to one- or two-story buildings around a central courtyard; previously inhabited by a single family, some of the larger homes in these older residential areas are now under the combined pressure of multiple occupation by low-income and migrant households, planning blight, and the expansion of commercial activity. By contrast, newer residential areas consist of wider, straight streets and outward-looking buildings of various heights with walled courtyards. Despite a rich architectural heritage, a number of historical buildings have suffered the effects of construction and expansion. Only a few buildings were listed for conservation, though at the end of the 20th century some 5,000 buildings of historical and architectural value had been identified in the Bāzār (bazaar) and ʿŪdlājān (Oudlajan) districts alone

the history of car rental

Car rental Iran and the history of car rental

Whether you're planning a trip to some foreign land or you just need a loaner vehicle while your car's enjoying a tune-up, chances are you've had to rely on a car rental at some point along the way. And yet, even though we've all used them, very few of us actually know the history behind the car rental industry and how it grew to become such an important part of every day travel and if you want to go to Iran you need to choose best car rental in Tehran and rent a car in Iran

History of Car Rentals the Beginnings

The U.S. car rental industry is believed to have began back in 1916, when a Nebraska man by the name of Joe Saunders decided to lend out his Ford Model T to local and visiting businessmen. This savvy entrepreneur affixed a mileage meter to the left front wheel of the vehicle and would charge renters a total of 10 cents a mile in order to cover the wear and tear on his beloved Ford

It didn't take long for Saunders to realize he'd stumbled onto a lucrative business idea. By 1925, Saunders' independent car rental company had grow to include operations In 21 states. Saunders also began to diversify his vehicle offering at this point – old Chrysler ads from the 1920's boast that Saunders' fleet included nearly million worth of Chrysler vehicles

The Battle Begins

Competitors quickly caught onto Saunders' unique rent-a-car model, and it wasn't long before Walter L. Jacobs started renting out a dozen or so Model T Fords of his own. By 1923, Jacobs' business was grossing more than million in annual sales, making him Saunders' main competitor

Both Saunders and Jacobs built their independent car rental businesses from humble beginnings, but only one would come out on top. In the mid 1920s, Jacobs made the acquaintance of Mr. John Hertz, owner of The Yellow Cab Manufacturing Company in Chicago. Hertz eventually bought Jacobs' car rental company, giving birth to what is now one of the largest chain car rental companies in the nation. Later, General Motors would buy out the Hertz's Yellow Cab Manufacturing Company, renaming the car rental portion of the business the "Hertz Driv-Ur-Self System

The Second World War, along with the expansion of the nation's rail system, helped facilitate the growth of car rental demand all across the United States. Railway Extensions, Inc., worked with rental agencies, allocating space for rental booths at railroad stations. They even provided telegraph service for rail customers so that they could reserve cars at one station and pick them up at another destination

Thank goodness we can now rely on the Car Rental Express reservation system to book rentals in advance

A Booming Industry Car Rentals from 1946 – 1970s

The car rental industry continued to burgeon following World War II. In fact, statistics from that time showed the car rental industry matched the growth rates of another popular transportation method – airlines. As airline passenger numbers grew, so too did the need for more rental vehicles. As with the railroads, it wasn't long until car rental companies began opening rental locations inside major airports. Hertz is credited with opening the first airport car rental franchise in 1932, providing travelers at Chicago's Midway Airport with a selection of top-notch vehicles

The real king of the airport car rental business didn't emerge until 1946, when Mr. Warren Avis launched the Avis Airlines Rent A Car System at Detroit's Willow Run Airport. Avis began his business with just three vehicles. Unlike other rental companies, which focused the majority of their attention on "downtown" rental locations, Avis directed all of his efforts on building airport franchises. Avis even used the airlines themselves to promote his company and attract new clients fresh from the skies

A Quick Look at the Independents

Being an independent car rental company during the 1940s was tough. Competition was fierce, and companies need to have unlimited resources in order to take advantage of the expanding marketing. This need for a greater market influence is what eventually promoted 24 independent car rental companies in St. Louis, Missouri to band together, forming the National Car Rental System in 1947

The Car Rental Industry Today

The car rental industry has experienced a lot of bumps and bruises over the past thirty years, as increased competition has created the need for innovative discount programs and complex price wars. This cut-throat competition resulted in many independent car rental companies going under during the early 1980s

Big automotive companies started taking an interested in the car rental industry in 1980, as top guns like Ford and Chrysler purchased controlling interest in some of the larger chain rental agencies. To this day, many of the larger chains are still controlled by automotive manufacturers

Recent Turmoil

The car rental industry, along with the airlines and other forms of travel, suffered a major blow in 2001 following the terrorist attacks in New York City. Today, the car rental industry is stronger than ever, thanks to convenient online reservation systems and useful price comparison tools. The Auto Rental News estimates that the U.S. car rental industry boasts more than 1.7 million rental vehicles – a number that's expected to continue to grow. Car rental in Iran is being grown and saadat rent is one of the  car rental Tehran companies

So Whatever Happened To Saunders

Saunders, like the car rental industry itself, experienced some major ups and downs. During the early 1930s, Saunders became a victim of the Great Depression, declaring bankruptcy. But, all was not lost. Remember those 24 independent agencies that banded together to form the National Car Rental System? Among the original founders was one Joe Saunders

Iranian food

Iranian food and restaurant Travel to Iran yields a stunning variety of culinary delights. Going to restaurant can be a part of you travel you can go to restaurant with Tehran tour or you can rent a car in Tehran or rent a car in Iran and go to best restaurant .tour tourist in Iran take you to good restaurant Between the familiar kebab and the decidedly outré grilled lamb’s testicles, there’s a vast spectrum of foods: caviar, pickle, and smoked fish in the north; samosas, falafel and hot and sour shrimp in the south; noodles, flatbread and rosewater-scented ice cream across the country Take a look at Iran’s place on the map and it’s easy to understand why the scope of native foods is so wide. Once the center of the Persian Empire, Iran neighbors the former Soviet Union countries, as well as Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Arab states and Turkey. Although Iran is part of the Middle East, it has close ties to Europe, the Far East and Africa, owing to its central place on the Silk Road trade route. What’s more, the ancient warrior-king of Greece, Alexander the Great, conquered the Persian Empire back in the 4th century, and later it was invaded by Arabs, Turks, Mongols and Uzbeks. While Iranians already had a well-developed food identity before these invasions, they assimilated what the outsiders brought in. Think Russian-style borscht with cumin and cilantro and Chinese noodles in a soup of beans, herbs and sour fermented whey Many coveted ingredients are native to Iran, including pistachios, almonds, walnuts, saffron, mint, oranges, pomegranates and grapes. Iran has a variable climate with four distinct seasons, and unlike other parts of the Middle East, where the dry terrain limited what food could be grown, the ancient Persians transformed vast stretches of arid land into fertile oases via underground aquifers that drew melted snow water into the desert. A bright, sensuous, fruit-and-herb filled cuisine was born A core curriculum of classic Persian favorites can be found on most Persian-American restaurant menus. Here are 10 to try. Noosh-e jan! (Yes, that’s Farsi for “bon appétit.”) Fesenjan (Pomegranate Walnut Stew) This iconic stew, an essential part of every Persian wedding menu, pairs tart pomegranate with chicken or duck. Ground walnuts, pomegranate paste and onions are slowly simmered to make a thick sauce. Sometimes saffron and cinnamon are added, and maybe a pinch of sugar to balance the acid. Fesenjan has a long pedigree. At the ruins of Persepolis, the ancient ritual capital of the Persian Empire, archaeologists found inscribed stone tablets from as far back as 515 B.C., which listed pantry staples of the early Iranians. They included walnuts, poultry and pomegranate preserves, the key ingredients in fesenjan. Bademjan (Eggplant And Tomato Stew) This stew has the shimmering red-gold color of tomatoes cooked with turmeric, with a sheen of oil on top, a prized characteristic in Persian cooking that shows a stew has been cooked long enough for the oils to rise up. Slightly tart, with the tang of tomatoes, lemon juice, and sometimes the juice of unripe grapes, its tanginess is kept in check by the eggplant, which is first fried on its own until golden-brown, then cooked with onions, lamb and the tomatoes and seasoning. Like all Persian stews, bademjan is thick and meant to be eaten over rice with a fork A simple rice dish, Baghali Polo is made with saffron, green dill and fava beans. (Photo: Louisa Shafia) Baghali Polo (Rice with Dill And Fava Beans) In Iranian cooking, rice can be prepared simply with butter and saffron, known as chelo. But just as often, it’s cooked with other ingredients and called polo. Polo can be made with herbs, vegetables, beans, nuts, dried fruit, meat and even noodles, and acts as the centerpiece of the meal. This polo is particularly good in the spring, when fava beans are young and tender and dill is in season. The dish is flecked with green dill and favas, and is often cooked with very tender chunks of lamb. Alternately, it may be served alongside lamb on the bone. The rice should have a mild saffron flavor, with the saffron mixed into the rice just before serving Zereshk Polo (Barberry Rice) Iranians love sour flavors. Like cranberries, barberries have a vibrant red color, but they’re even more sour. This classic rice dish is studded with the red berries, which are dried and then rehydrated before cooking. The rice is cooked with plenty of butter, which helps to soften the intensity of the berries. Quince, rhubarb, green plums, sour oranges, lemons, limes, dried limes, sour cherries, tamarind, sumac and pomegranate are all used in Persian cooking to make food more tart Gormeh Sabzi (Green Herb Stew) Made from herbs, kidney beans and lamb, deep green gormeh sabzi satisfies two Persian flavor obsessions: it’s sour and full of herbs. The stew is seasoned with dried limes, limoo omani in Farsi. These limes are extra intense and sour, with a bittersweet taste that gives the stew a unique flavor. The other constant in gormeh sabzi is fenugreek leaves, a taste unfamiliar to most westerners. Other herbs include parsley, coriander and scallions Ash e Reshteh (Noodle and Bean Soup) A richly textured soup full of noodles, beans, herbs and leafy greens like spinach and beet leaves. It’s topped with mint oil, crunchy fried onions and sour kashk, a fermented whey product eaten in the Middle East that tastes akin to sour yogurt. The noodles, which made their way to Iran from China, are thought to represent the many paths of life, and this soup is traditionally served when someone sets off on a long journey. Because of its auspicious ingredients, it’s also part of the menu for Norooz, the Persian new year, which occurs at the spring equinox in March Tahdig (Crunchy Fried Rice) Tahdig is the soul food of Persian cooking. It’s the crisp, golden layer of fried rice at the bottom of the rice pot, and it tastes like a combination of popcorn and potato chips, but with the delicate flavor of basmati ice. (Tahdig is usually not printed on the menu, so you may have to ask for it.) At Iranian family gatherings, there are always plenty of leftovers, but the one dish that disappears completely is tahdig. It’s eaten as a side dish, and it’s forgivable to pick it up and eat it with your fingers A traditional wedding staple: jeweled rice. (Photo: Sara Remington, The New Persian Kitchen) Jeweled Rice (Rice with Nuts and Dried Fruit) Dotted with brightly colored dried fruit and nuts, like little jewels, this is a sweet-and-savory dish that shows off some of the native ingredients of Iran, including pistachios, almonds, candied orange peel, barberries, carrots and saffron. It’s cooked with a little sugar to balance the sourness of the barberries. Jeweled rice is served for special occasions, particularly at weddings, because the sweet elements symbolize a sweet life. It’s traditionally served with chicken, which contrasts nicely with the sweetness Kebab (Lamb, Chicken, Lamb Liver, Ground Meat) Kebabs have more variety than you might think. First, there’s koobideh, ground meat seasoned with minced onion, salt and pepper. It sounds simple, but the taste is sublime. There is kebab-e barg, thinly sliced lamb or beef, flavored with lemon juice and onion and basted with saffron and butter. Chicken kebab, known as joojeh, is traditionally made from a whole chicken, bones and all, for more flavor (although in American restaurants it’s often made from skinless chicken breast), marinated in lemon and onion, and basted with saffron and butter. If you’re lucky, you’ll find jigar, lamb liver kebab, garnished with fresh basil leaves and a wedge of lemon Sabzi Khordan (Herb and Cheese Plate) No Persian meal is complete without a dish of sabzi khordan, or edible herbs. The plate can include mint, tarragon, basil and cilantro, alongside scallions, radishes, walnuts, feta cheese and Iranian nan (flatbread). Simply tear off a piece of flatbread, tuck a bit of the herbs and cheese and other garnishes inside, and fold it up like a rustic sandwich. The plate stays on the table throughout the meal, and the herbs are a crunchy palate cleanser between bites of stew and rice. Fresh and dried green herbs are eaten daily in Iran. The Zoroastrian new year Norooz celebrates rebirth and renewal, and the Norooz menu includes several dishes made with green herbs representing new life, including rice with herbs, an herb omelet and the herb platter Related content Public transportation or rent a car in Tehran Iran car rental and holy places Travel to shiraz Tourists and familiarity with the city of Shiraz car rental iran persian food tours Amazing car rental in Iran Attractions Sightseeing and best rental car in Iran Rent a van or build camper van

A major portion of the area is dedicated to the servants of the Holy Shrine. Besides these Basts, there is a beautiful rectangular mosque connected directly to the entombment compartment. It is popularly known as Masjid¬e-Bala e sar e Mubarak e Hazrat. This holy mosque is one of the highlighting attractions for pilgrims, particularly because this mosque is the oldest existing mosque in Mashhad Qom, Tehran This city is situated in the South of Tehran, the Iranian capital. This place is the burial place of Imam Ali Al¬Redha’s sister, Lady Fatema Al¬Ma’asuma. The three daughters of the ninth Imam are also buried there. This place is the one of the most striking attractions for Zahirs visiting Qom for visiting Holy places. This place is also very important for the city’s economy. The beautiful mosque along with its spiritual value welcomes pilgrims across the board. The mosque consists of a burial chamber along with three prayer halls and three courtyards. Three prayer halls are large enough to accommodate a massive number of pilgrims and are named as Tabatabai, Bala Sar, and Adham. Since Qom is regarded as the foundational place of the Iranian Revolution, the Fatima Masoumeh shrine was given much prominence in their times and hence was enlarged extensively. Adding to that, three balconies were built in the year 1519 AD. One of the balconies is “The Golden Balcony”, on the top of which an epigraph with a blue background with a glorious is Hadith inscribes as “Those who die with the love of the Family of Muhammad (PBUH), die like the martyrs”. Second balcony, Aineh balcony, which got its name from the mirror work on the area. Around mere one meter of the wall is crafted with stone work while the rest of the covering is all mirror art manifestation Iran is one of the most important asian countries and it is home to one of the world's oldest civilizations.Iran consists of the Iranian Plateau, with the exception of the coasts of the Caspian Sea and Khuzestan. It is one of the world's most mountainous countries, its landscape dominated by rugged mountain ranges that separate various basins or plateaux from one another. The populous western part is the most mountainous, with ranges such as the Caucasus, Zagros, and Alborz, the last containing Mount Damavand, Iran's highest point at 5,610 m (18,406 ft), which is also the highest mountain on the Eurasian landmass west of the Hindu Kush. The northern part of Iran is covered by the lush lowland Caspian Hyrcanian mixed forests, located near the southern shores of the Caspian Sea. The eastern part consists mostly of desert basins, such as the Kavir Desert, which is the country's largest desert, and the Lut Desert, as well as some salt lakes. The only large plains are found along the coast of the Caspian Sea and at the northern end of the Persian Gulf, where the country borders the mouth of the Arvand river. Smaller, discontinuous plains are found along the remaining coast of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman.Although tourism declined significantly during the war with Iraq, it has been subsequently recovered. About 1,659,000 foreign tourists visited Iran in 2004, and 2.3 million in 2009, mostly from Asian countries, including the republics of Central Asia, while about 10% came from the European Union and North America. Since the removal of some sanctions against Iran in 2015, tourism has re-surged in the country. Over five million tourists visited Iran in the fiscal year of 2014–2015, four percent more than the previous year Alongside the capital, the most popular tourist destinations are Isfahan, Mashhad, and Shiraz. In the early 2000s, the industry faced serious limitations in infrastructure, communications, industry standards, and personnel training. The majority of the 300,000 travel visas granted in 2003 were obtained by Asian Muslims, who presumably intended to visit pilgrimage sites in Mashhad and Qom Related content Travel to shiraz Tourists and familiarity with the city of Shiraz car rental iran persian food tours Amazing car rental in Iran Attractions Sightseeing and best rental car in Iran Rent a van or build camper van

Iran tour and things you may not have known about the Iran

Travel to iran is a good decision , tourism in iran is incresed and every one can visit Iran with Iran tour or Tehran tour ;companies can suggest you best things like rent a car in Iran with good prices or best tour tourists  in Iran or Tehran airport transfer and you can also taste delicious food everywhere in Iran
A woman shares things you may not have known about the country, from visas to Versace
With increased travel to the country, domestic carriers like Air Iran will soon up their game

The Country’s Getting New Aircraft

For frequent flyers, this is big news. Major carriers like Air France, Emirates and Etihad, and budget airlines like Fly Dubai and Gulf Air already fly into Tehran. But domestic travel has always been sketchy, with a safety record that’s far from perfect. The head of Iran’s civil aviation agency recently announced that once western sanctions are lifted, the country plans to buy 80-90 new planes per year, from both Boeing and Airbus. The move would completely overhaul Iran’s domestic fleet, which has an average age of 23 years, more than double the international average
If you visit Iran, don’t miss the magnificent ruins at Persepolis

There are Incredible Historical Sites

Iran has 19 sites designated as World Heritage Sites by the UN (with another 49 listed as “tentative”). The list includes historical monuments like the Golestan Palace, situated right in the heart of Tehran, and the ancient Tabriz Bazaar, once a key trading stop on the Silk Road. Others include entire cities like Bam, which was decimated by an earthquake in 2003, and the well-preserved ruins of Persepolis, dating back all the way to 500 BC
Iran may soon be allowed back into SWIFT, which allows banks to transfer money internationally

SWIFT

One of the most inconvenient things about traveling to Iran is the absence of international banking options. It’s a cash-based economy, and you’ll wind up carrying wads of Iranian toman to pay for stuff. That could change once Iran is allowed back into the SWIFT exchange system. SWIFT is what allows banks to transfer money internationally. (If you’ve ever made a wire transfer between countries, you probably used it.) Re-entry into the SWIFT system would make overseas money transfers as easy as clicking a button. It could also lead to foreign credit cards and ATMs being used once again
It’s not easy to get a tourist visa for Iran — but it’s definitely possible

It’s Not Straightforward, But It’s Possible to Get a Visa

To get a tourist visa, you’ll have to be sponsored by an approved individual, group or travel agency, who will take legal responsibility for your stay in the country. The most common way is to use a travel agency (based in UK, UAE, etc.). All they’ll need is for you to fill out a form and send them a scanned copy of your passport. The ***t is usually around £25-35 (-54). Since there’s no Iranian embassy in the US, you’ll have to put down on the form where you intend to collect the visa once it’s approved.
Two of the most common visa pickup locations are Istanbul and Abu Dhabi, both of which have daily flights to Tehran. Be warned: Once the visa has been approved, it can be difficult to change the pickup location.
Another way is to find a trade or business convention you’d like to attend, and ask them to sponsor your travel. Americans can’t get individual visas, so (officially) you’ll have to be part of a tour or business group. The silver lining is that the group can consist of just two people. The application process is supposed to take five to 10 business days.

Attractions Sightseeing and best rental car in Iran

These cities are so attractive that all tour and travel agencies suggest you visit. Attractions in these cities are really variable and any tourist with any taste will be more than satisfied with the trip. If you want travel to Iran , rent a car in tehran and visit these beautiful cities and before you call car rental iran please read this article.

car rental in Tehran airport

The capital city, attractive, exciting but not very historical or old.” Everything under the sun” is a good proverb to describe this city and its wonderful Grand Bazaar. Tajrish Bazaar is another one that you can see and buy what you are really looking for.

There are 3 big palaces in Tehran: Golestan, Sa’d Abad and Nyavaran, which keep many great museums. It is worth noting that one of the most expensive museums in the world is located in Tehran, the Jewellry Museum and National Museum of Iran.

There is a beautiful bridge in Tehran called Nature Bridge, along which you can take a walk and enjoy being with people. You can also go mountain climbing or hiking to Darake or Damavand or even farther, go skiing in Dizin and Toochal resorts.

Tehran is crowded as well as mysterious, full of people from all around Iran.

car rental in Kashan

Driving to Esfahan from Tehran, you can visit a desert city called Kashan. It is a small city in the heart of the Central Desert of Iran. It has great traditional restaurants with eye-catching architecture. Sialk Teppe dating back to 7000 years ago, Fin Garden, one of the oldest Iranian gardens; and finally its old, beautifully constructed houses are the things that make this city distinguishable.

Ancient people in Kashan have applied their old knowledge of construction in building houses. Tabatabaeeha and Boroojerdiha are just 2 examples of all 60 old houses in Kashan.

For a memorable, full of stars night, you can visit Mesr Desert which is near Kashan.

Just drive 80 kilometers west to visit one of the most gorgeous villages in Iran, Abyane.

car rental in Esfahan

It is only a 2-hour drive from Kashan to Esfahan, one of the greatest tourist cities in Iran.

Zayande Rood is a river that flows through the city over which some bridges have been constructed. The river and the bridges make the city dreamy and different. Siose Pol and Khajoo Pol are two of the most famous bridges considering the Iranian architecture.

There are many must-see attractions in Esfahan that remind tourists of eastern mysterious myths like Hasht Behesht Palace, Chehelsetoun, Chahar Bagh and Jame Mosque.

Emam Square, also known as Naghshe Jahan Square, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the biggest squares in the world. Emam Mosque and Sheikh Lotfolah Mosque, Alighapoo Palace and Bazaar are located around this square.

Esfahan is especially famous for traditional food and restaurants. Iranians call this city Nesfe Jahan which in Persian means “half of the world”. The reason is people believe that Esfahan has half of the world’s beauty.

car rental in Yazd

Yazd is another desert city, holding the most number of Zoroastrian people in Iran. That’s why there are many Zoroastrian monuments. To see these monuments I can introduce you to some, the Tower of Silence, where they bury their dead, Zoroastrian Fire and Chak Chak.

car rental in shiraz

The last but not the least is Shiraz. According to the archeological research in 2016 Shiraz has a history of 7500 years.

Persepolise is a palace built 2500 years ago during one of the greatest empires, the ancient Persian era.

In Necropolise you can visit tombs of the Persian kings and royal family. A little farther, in Pasargad, is located the tomb of Cyrus the great, founder of the Achamenid dynasty.

Shiraz is famous as the city of culture and literature too. The tombs of two of the best poets of Iran, Hafez and Sa’di, are located at the centre of beautiful gardens, Hafezie and Sa’die. Eram and Jahan Nama gardens are visited by many tourists every year.

Zandie Complex, also known as Vakil Complex, is one highly recommended attraction I really suggest you visit. It includes: Bathhouse, Bazaar and Mosque. Ghavam House and Zinatolmolook House and Pink Mosque are really beautiful.

Shiraz is a colorful, four-season city with many attractions and friendly people. The mild climate helps you enjoy the time in Shiraz especially in Spring.

Besides these cities and attractions you can visit the south islands of Iran like Queshm, Hormoz;  holy cities like Mashhad and Hamedan and Alisadr Cave.
